Medium: Acrylic
Dimensions: 30”x40”
Artist Statement: Two young men stand shoulder to shoulder, framed by the crumbling walls and graffiti- of their neighborhood. The street behind them is littered and scarred, windows boarded up, the remnants of old dreams lingering in every cracked sidewalk and rusted sign. Their clothes are worn but clean—pride stitched into every seam. You can see the weight of hardship in their eyes, but there’s also a glint of hope, a stubborn light that refuses to die out.
